Our good friends from the initiative 'Are You Syrious' asked Taste of Home to support Kind People Day: an event they dedicated to hundreds of thousand people, refugees from Africa and Asia. The AYS volunteers wanted to share their first hand experiences collected on the so called Balkan route with the visitors of this event. Exhibition, workshops for kids and adults, donations, auctions, concert and a lot more different wonderful activities took place in Autonomous Cultural Centre Medika in Zagreb with another goal of collecting donations for the refugees. We gladly responded to this call and prepared several dishes to taste. We have been cooking out in the cold but did not complain one second, thinking about all the refugees freezing in the same moment. It was our pleasure to contribute this wonderful story of solidarity.
